Be it a vocal harmony trio with guitars and percussion, lively roaming DJ live act to New Orleans Jazz second line band we have it covered. We work with flexible line-ups of all the singers and musicians across LDN to book the most fitting group of performers for what you're looking for. When booking a roaming band, it's important to have a clear vision of the purpose you'd like them to serve. This can help inform the style of lineup you choose...
Are you looking for an ice-breaker whilst people are chatting, or do you want maximum impact with the whole room involved at once? The former might point to longer unamped acoustic roaming sets with the band making their way around different groups of people, whereas the latter points to short, punchy roaming sets involving a full band or a DJ with speakers filling the whole space. SONG IDEAS.
Believe it or not, it takes a special kind of song to work in a roaming set, particularly for high energy sets.
It needs to strike a fine balance between being extremely well-known and having a good sing-a-long pedigree. Think of songs where EVERYONE knows the chorus, and would sing it all with us, for that reason a tune like 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered' can work well but 'Superstition' wouldn't, and this is why we keep our offerings quite limited for
roaming sets.
