I cannot thank you guys enough for everything you did for the wedding. It was just seamless, it was the music perfect PERFECT music set. Everyone killed it for the rehearsal dinner, the cocktails, the ceremony. You brought an energy that I will never ever forget for the rest of my life to that wedding that day. The sax playing, the games you played with them, making everyone sing. It was just absolute perfection.
Thank you so much for everything you did for us. I hope you all had an absolute blast and got home ok! Wow, what a weekend!
The House of Ellington flew out for this idyllic 2 day event, at which our performers made a number of appearances. At the rehearsal dinner, Aleysha and Jerome (keys), performed a beautiful duo set at the GH Tremezzo Hotel. Special request was 'That's Amore' to set the scene on a gorgeous Italian evening.
Fast forward to wedding day, where we kicked off the ceremony teaming up with string quartet to perform a dreamy rendition of 'I'm Kissing You' by Des'ree. The guests took a short walk along the lake in 30 degree bliss to the aperitif where they were met by Jaz and George doing a guitar/vocal duo - after 45 min we rotated the singers for a change in flavour where Kirsten jumped in and performed the son of the bride's special request 'Watermelon Sugar' by Harry Styles. The dinner took place in the glass house of Villa Pizzo where everntually House of Ellington 8 piece band took over and kicked off performing the Father/Daughter dance 'Something Got Me Started' by Simply Red. We partied the night away, starting with a soul heavy first set, progressing into some more contemporary bangers. Then it was time to hand over to Alice and Taylor who took the guests into the early hours with a newlywed DJ duo set!

Amazon is one of our most faithful clients, and on our 5th year providing entertainment for their end of year parties, they were able to sample the delights of the House of Ellington. The band went down an absolute storm, playing a real mix of repertoire to serve a crowd with very diverse tastes. In the second set we even had a guest performance by Jay Alexzander to rile the crowd with a few afro beats tunes from artists such as Rema, Burna Boy and Tyla.

This was a high-energy engagement party at NoMad London, Georgia & Harry brought together close friends and family for an evening that blended elegance with proper party atmosphere.
Our 9-piece House of Ellington band set the tone in the ballroom with two
standout live sets featuring a special performance from the bride’s mum
before Joe took over on DJ. It's not necessarily always something we'd always recommend, having a parent sing with the band, but on this occasion, Georgia's mum was an ex-pro and so had tonnes of experience holding it down with a band. She did more than just slot in though, she joined us for three disco classics and absolutely smashed them out the park! Very impressive stuff.
We don't do many engagement parties, but this couple actually wanted to have their main celebration at this moment, to enable them to elope and have a small wedding abroad, which is a great idea for those more interested in a party than a full blown wedding to plan!

With a lead time of 8 days between the initial enquiry and the actual event, this was a true opportunity to put our logistics system to the test. We worked together closely with the client's PA to make sure that everything ran smoothly, and boy it did! A true testament that with a focussed mind you can make it happen. We made sure that all flights/accommodation and transfers were booked with 5 days to spare to make sure that we had time to hone in on the idiosyncrasies of the event.
This event was the birthday party of a supermarket owner, so whilst we wanted to make the night fun for everyone, we also wanted it to feel special for the birthday boy, so a last minute special request and some awesome interactive performances made it just that. Not to mention of course a big rendition of 'Happy Birthday'!

PRODUCTION PACKAGES
In order to simplify your decision making process, we offer two straightforward packages to support the showband; STANDARD and PREMIUM. Unless you are tied in to providing sound production yourself, all our clients will require sound production and a sound engineer, therefore this is included in both packages. The standard package includes some lighting and is connected together in such a way that it runs automatically. Our premium package, however, includes a lighting engineer who can design the lighting to beautifully complement the event and also react in real time to the movement of the music. The premium lighting package involves much more comprehensive lighting and also includes our sleek staging.
OUR PREMIUM PACKAGE (STAGE ALSO AVAILABLE IN WHITE)

Whilst we offer the 2 straightforward package options for tech we also are delighted to offer fully bespoke design to compliment our music. It may be that your overall event design requires us to slot in with a specific look, or you just want to go huge with the vision and take a version of our premium package and upgrade it to really go BIG! Be it mirrored staging, lighting rigs in the ceiling, an all white aesthetic, or lights on podiums around the room, there is usually an answer to most requests and using our extensive expertise in the industry we can help you make your vision a beautiful reality. If you want to go bespoke, simply request a call with our AV team to start to put these ideas in motion. We can give you an advanced quote and also look into any restrictions that may need to be overcome in order to make it happen. When we're putting together unique designs we do need time on the day or before the day to execute them to the highest standard, so it's worth bearing in mind not all bespoke designs can be achieved in a short room turnaround!
